Heating or Cooling Not Working
If your Zeroth unit is not providing heating or cooling, here are a few simple checks you can carry out before seeking further assistance:
- Check the heat emitters (radiators)
- Make sure they haven’t been turned off or isolated.
- Check the Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs) and open them if needed.
- Verify the unit has power
- Is the screen lit up?
- Is the isolation switch on?
- Has a fuse tripped on the consumer unit/fuse box?
- Look for warning messages
- If the “System Fault Contact Support” message appears, further guidance can be found here: Zeroth Fault Message Article
- Check the temperature setting
- Ensure the set temperature on the room thermostat is appropriate and adjust if needed.
- Also check that any timer setting on the room thermostat is set to allow the heat pump to run long enough to get the room to temperature.
- Ensure the set temperature on the room thermostat is appropriate and adjust if needed.
- If still unresolved
- Contact the building management service that looks after your heating system.
