How much of a temperature drop is needed on the Edel hot water cylinder before it will start up and re-heat the tank?

The Edel 200/270 products will allow the tank to drop 5 degrees from the set temperature before it switches on the compressor to reheat the water. However, this does not apply if the timer is in a Frost PT time period (Frost protect time).

The 5 degree drop (we call this the hysteresis) is not adjustable by the user.
