How can I reduce the running costs of my Edel Cylinder?

Turn down the water temperature by a few degrees, as this will mean the cylinder will be on for less amount of time to heat the water. Be aware, the cylinder carries out a Legionella cycle weekly that increases the water temperature to 60 degrees for approximately 1 hour.

You can also programme the cylinder to 'ECO' mode so the cylinder runs purely on the air source heat pump and not alongside the electric immersion. However, for the cylinder to run the Legionella cycle, the cylinder would need to be programmed to 'COMFORT' mode for this timed period, so the immersion can be activated to assist the heat pump to reach 60 degrees.
