Applicable to models: LA6MI, LA9MI, LA12MI, LA16MI
Issue: Error code H76 shown on the display. No heat, compressor is stopped.
What this means: H76 means there is either a faulty connection between the control screen and heat pump outside, or a faulty screen, or faulty PCB within the heat pump outside.
Action: Engineer will need to investigate by following the flow diagram below.
Heat pump must be safely isolated from mains supply before carrying out any work!
The most common cause of this will be physical damage to the cable between the control screen indoors and the heat pump outside. It is advisable to disconnect the cable at both ends, then continuity test each conductor of the multi core cable. If any of the conductors are open circuit, the break in the cable will need to be found and the cable repaired. Damage to cable is most likely due to rodents.
If the cable is OK, then the 5V DC supply needs to be checked from the Main Water PCB CN-REMOTE2 connector:

During standby and operation of cooling and heating, indoor-remote control error occur.
Malfunction Caused:
1 Faulty connector connection.
2 Faulty remote control.
3 Faulty main water PCB.

• Control panel & Cable part (all models): X-2511055 NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
• Main Water PCB aka "Indoor PCB" (part number depends on model of heat pump)
