Quantum storage heater QMRF - What is setback?

Setback

Setback is a temperature mode that will aim to maintain a slightly lower room temperature during "Heating OFF" periods, commonly around 2 to 5 degrees lower. It can help a room to recover back to the desired temperature much quicker when the timer changes back to "Heating ON". However, in some circumstances it may deplete the heat in the core quicker as a result or use more energy in some situations i.e. poorly insulated rooms and high setback temperatures.

Enabling Setback

1) Press Menu

2) Highlight Settings and press the Dial

3) Highlight Setback and press the Dial

In the Setback options screen you can Enable, Disable, and set the setback temperature
