Maximum duct length
The maximum length of ducting used with the XPlus 2 fans is not something we can provide or advise on, due to various factors we as the manufacturer are unable to account for. Instead this will need to be calculated by the installer accounting for variables such as, but not limited to:
- Room size
- Number of air changes/air flow rate required
- Amount of background ventilation
- Ducting size, type, airflow resistance
- Number of bends
- Pressure drop characteristics of the fan
When all variables have been factored in, the installer will then be able to determine if the product with be suitable for the specific installation and perform as required.
