My Simply Silent 4" fan is making a ticking noise, how do I resolve?

Issue:

Fan makes a ticking noise when running.

What this means:

The impeller is likely catching on a label and/or side of the fan body.

Action

In guarantee- Isolate the power supply to the fan and remove the front cover. Remove the impeller (should just pull off shaft). The impeller is quite pliable and should be easily manipulated back into shape. Refit the impeller and cover then test. If the issue remains, it could be an indication that the motor may be misaligned, which a replacement fan is then required. Please click the link below and attach a video/audio clip of the noise.

Out of Guarantee- Once the above has been checked and if the issue persists, a replacement fan is required.
